YouRA10 Intermediate Acting Workshop:
After you have some acting experience under your belt, you are now ready to learn the details of becoming a better actor. You will learn how to prepare for the role, develop the character and perform “in the moment”. You will also learn details on how to be successful at Cold Readings, Improvisation, and how to “play to the camera”.
Always expect the unexpected when on a film or television set (weather conditions may interfere with filming that day; lighting equipment may break down or malfunction, etc.) Always be prepared; be professional and courteous.
The secret to success in acting is to keep honing your skills through actual work experience, as well as taking training classes and workshops. Keep auditioning, keep practicing and improve upon yourself. Determination, desire, and persistence are key.
